How to read this card
- The big gold number is her MeritScore (241). 200 is the average MeritBoard student this school year.
- Provisional means she has not yet completed enough proctored tests for the score to settle; practice doesn’t count. The score is shown, but it will keep moving.
- Record (A) says how much evidence stands behind the score: how many scored answers, how recent they are, across how many different months, her portfolio, and integrity checks. It rates the evidence, not how well she did. Tap it on the card for the list.
- Each subject has its own score, and under it where she stands among MeritBoard students in her grade who also have a score in that subject: “88th pctl” means she scored at or above 88% of them. It appears only when the group has at least 10 students — below that, a ranking means nothing.
The data on this card is invented and shown for illustration only. It does not belong to any real student.
