For Schools

One contest across the whole school, not one per classroom

Ten teachers on ten separate accounts run ten separate contests. A school on MeritBoard runs one: every classroom enters its students, every entry is scored against the same criteria, and there is one ranking at the end.

The school-wide contest

It is the one thing on this page that several separate Pro accounts cannot do at all.

  1. 1

    The administrator creates the contest

A school-wide contest is its own option when you create a contest, visible only to the school’s administrator. One theme, one set of criteria, one deadline.

  2. 2

Every teacher enters their own students

No teacher has to join anything or type a code — every active member of the school is already in it. Each one manages their own classroom.

  3. 3

You can limit it by grade

Pick the eligible grades, or leave it open to the whole school. A 6th-through-8th contest doesn’t make first graders compete against them.

  4. 4

    All entries are scored together

One set of criteria applied to every entry from every classroom — and one ranking at the end, not twelve separate ones.

Teachers keep running their own classroom contests exactly as before. The school-wide contest is in addition to those, not instead of them.

No watered-down version

Every seat is a full teacher account

A school plan is not one plan split between everyone. Each teacher gets their own complete account, with their own roster of up to 150 students — exactly what they would have if they paid for Pro themselves.

Nobody shares a roster, nobody competes for a slot, and nobody loses anything moving from their own account onto the school’s.

What every seat gets

  • 150 students on each teacher’s roster
  • Unlimited contests a month
  • Group contests and teacher-vs-teacher challenges
  • Verified tests and MeritScores
  • Certificates, share cards and results reels
  • The computer-powered Teaching Assistant

One bill, one administrator

The administrator invites teachers by email from their dashboard and can see at any moment how many seats are filled and how many are left.

An invited teacher accepts and they are in — no second credit card, no reimbursement to chase, and no member of staff paying out of pocket.

The same recognition across the school

When the whole school is on one system, a third-grade award and a seventh-grade award mean the same thing: verified by the teacher, certified by MeritBoard.

And the record follows the student from one classroom to the next instead of starting over every September.

More than one school?

Districts and dioceses run one contest across all of their schools, with divisions by grade and a single submission window. Pricing is custom.
