Request a signed DPA

At a glance

AI-assisted, teacher-verified, MeritBoard-certified

AI does a first-pass assessment; a teacher verifies the work and must Confirm & Publish every result; MeritBoard certifies the published record. Nothing goes public automatically.

Computer panel

A computer panel scores: two independent models that score the same work separately, plus a third that settles close results. Providers are listed in our Privacy Policy.

Student work never trains AI

Submissions are sent to AI providers only to score that contest. Neither we nor they use the data to train models.

FERPA & COPPA aligned

We operate as a "school official" under FERPA, with parental-consent flows for younger students. We do not sell data.

Data minimized & deletable

Public pages show a first name and last initial (or a screen name). Teachers can delete any data anytime; deletion within 30 days.

We sign your DPA

We execute your district’s Data Privacy Agreement (DPA) or a standard SDPC/NDPA exhibit on request.

Each lives online at a stable URL you can forward to IT, leadership, or legal.
